The Ugly Ducklings - Somewhere Outside (Vinyl)

Somewhere Outside is the debut album by Canadian garage rock band The Ugly Ducklings, released in 1967. The band's chippy rockabilly style, prevalent on album opener "Nothin'" and "Hey Mama (Keep Your Big Mouth Shut)," combined with vocalist Dave Bingham's delivery draws comparisons to fellow garage rock groups The Kinks, Them (Van Morrison), and The Sonics. Elements of The Who, The Rolling Stones, and The Yardbirds can also be heard in their recordings.
